Graham and Evan launched MBED in the summer of ‘12, shortly after Graham wrote a book on how brands should best leverage YouTube video advertising. This project led Graham to Evan and from there the two realized there was a gap in the market for a Strategy-first, “boutique” consultancy.

Early-stage projects for JanSport, New Relic, and RelayRides (now Turo), in tandem with both Teak and WEREHAUS quickly turned MBED into a reality. Several years later, Graham heads up all day-to-day campaign operations and works intimately with each of our clients to ensure their goals are achieved.

EVAN ROMANO

Partner, Biz Dev/Planning Lead

Evan is a well-versed Strategist with previous studio gigs at Gin Lane, Mekanism, and WEREHAUS. Notably, he’s spoken as an Industry Hero at Miami Ad School and has taught graduate-level courses on Creative & Strategic Thinking at the Academy of Art University.

MARCELLA CASTRO

Campaign Manager

Marcella joined MBED in Fall ‘16 after earning a graduate degree in Production from the Academy of Art University.

She supports the team in the design and implementation of media strategies, campaign optimizations, and reporting to ensure that project deliverables and deadlines are met. Since joining MBED, she’s contributed to campaigns on behalf of Cord Blood Registry, The Curran, and JanSport.

PATRICK ABOGADO

Jr. Strategist/Analyst

Patrick joined MBED in Spring ‘17 after receiving his B.A. in Economics from San Francisco State University; where his research was focused on multiple regression analysis.

He’s an insights-driven performance marketer who’s Google Certified in Display, Video, Search, and Analytics. Since joining MBED, he’s helped to manage, optimize, and report on successful executions for a range of clients - JanSport, Gliffy, and Collective2 to name a few.

SHELDON FRANK

Sr. Analyst/Strategist
Sheldon joined the MBED team in the Spring of 2015 after holding various positions in the media buying and digital ad effectiveness research worlds at organizations such as Millward Brown Digital.
 
Sheldon supports across various facets of the day-to-day campaign operations including media strategy, campaign management and analytics/reporting. Since joining MBED Sheldon has contributed to a variety of clients with a focus on our outdoor and retail clients such as JanSport, Trek Travel, and Outdoor Research.
